Carrie’s love of cosmetology is embedded into her DNA. Her mother, Nancy, is one of SALON ONE ‘s longest tenured stylists. Growing up around the SALON ONE team, Carrie witnessed firsthand the joy and relationships that grew from something as seemingly simple as a haircut.
Her career at SALON ONE began at the receptionist desk when she was attending cosmetology school. Since completing beauty school in 1999, this second-generation hairstylist quickly became one of SALON ONE ‘s most in-demand stylists. Her entire career has been with SALON ONE, and she’s loved every minute of it.
Carrie possesses a renowned versatility for everything from short cuts for women to long, beautiful layers, but she is especially well-known as one of SALON ONE ‘s most highly skilled administrators of Great Lengths Hair Extensions. In fact, Carrie has completed specialized training in Las Vegas to become Great Lengths Certified.
Beyond styling, Carrie can be found spending time with her husband, Tim, and their three children, or doing something crafty.
What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?
My mom always says, “Don’t worry, it will cook down.
What was the first haircut you ever gave?
A skipper Barbie doll. The haircut never looked good so I just kept cutting until she had a buzz cut. She was always the witch after that. We improvised!
No one looks stupid when they’re having fun.
