Holly’s Specialties:  Shellac Nails, Manicures, Pedicures, Makeup, Color, Cutting and Styling

Holly’s Story

DESIGNER

Holly has had the pleasure of working in the cosmetology industry since 2005. While she enjoys all aspects of hair and nails, Holly specializes in Shellac Nails, manicures, pedicures, and makeup.  Holly says the great thing about Shellac nails is that they can be very classic with a french tip, or very flashy with glitter or shimmer.

Helping her clients look and feel their best motivates Holly each and every day.  On a typical day, she may have appointments with a bride and her bridesmaids, a high school senior preparing for her senior portraits, a mother in need of a few hours of pampering, or a fashionista keeping up with the latest trends. For her clients, these are moments that will be forever captured in time, and Holly says she’s honored to be part of such important life events.

Then, as if these stories weren’t fulfilling enough, from time to time this industry throws some unexpected opportunities your way that are just as exciting. This was especially true when Holly had the opportunity to do hair and makeup on the set of a television commercial for the Full Throttle Saloon reality show when she did hair, makeup and assisted with wardrobe.

In her free time, Holly enjoys spending time in the Black Hills with her family.  She especially enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, photographing wildlife, visiting Prairie Berry Winery and dining in Hill City.

As a child what did you want to be?

I always wanted to do hair.  I practiced on my sister for years, doing her hair and painting her nails.

What was your first car?

The very first car I drove was my dad’s ’79 Ford F-150.  I loved driving that big old truck, but I hated parking it.

Where there is great love there are always miracles.
