ASSISTANT MANAGER / COORDINATOR
Lindsey is a wife, mom, and photographer. She is passionate about all three roles. She began her career at SALON ONE as a Salon Coordinator in 1999. Six years later she was promoted to Assistant Manager, a position she still holds today.
As one of the oldest children of many siblings, Lindsey quickly developed a nurturing personality that frequently shows up at the salon. She is always happy, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile to brighten someone’s day. She says she learned to be compassionate from her mother, who taught her to never judge others because you don’t know what they’ve been through.
When she isn’t spreading sunshine at the salon, Lindsey can be found following her passion for photography. She says she “loves the idea of capturing a memory or a feeling. At some point in your life,” she says, “a picture may be all that you’re left with.” For Lindsey, her passion for photography grew from her own desire to capture her family’s special moments in time.
Lindsey specializes in photographing newborns, children, families and what she calls “sweet moments”. She says babies and children are just so innocent and magical. You may notice that she’s also quite adept at photography for corporate biographies, as Lindsey photographed and edited the profile pictures of all her colleagues on SALON ONE ‘s website.
But Lindsey’s greatest passion is her family, the one thing she can’t live without because they mean everything to her. Her and her husband have two sons and one daughter, and Lindsey says they are her greatest achievement.
If you could trade lives with anyone for a day, who would it be?
A marine biologist. I am completely mesmerized by dolphins and whales.
What was your favorite trip or vacation?
My most favorite trip was when my husband and I traveled with my siblings to the Dominican Republic for my brother’s wedding! It was amazing. I got to swim and dance with dolphins.
Have you ever been told you look like someone famous?
Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.
