Darsha’s Story
MASTER DESIGNER
Darsha is an artist. From a very young age she has been adept at painting and drawing. It’s only natural, then, that she eventually pursued a career in which she could apply her skills to change the lives of every client who sits in her chair.
Her career in cosmetology officially began at the age of 19. That was in 1991, and she hasn’t looked back since. Her strong artistic background and keen attention to detail make her especially great in brows, color, cuts, and styling.
In her spare time, Darsha finds delight in her two dogs and spending time outdoors hiking, exploring, and photographing the Black Hills with her fiancé. Her adventurous spirit has recently inspired her to take up kayaking. She is also very fond of the many pumpkin-related products that hit store shelves every fall.
Darsha’s favorite place to be is at her new home in Spearfish. There, she’s closer to the beauty and serenity of the Black Hills, its many hiking trails, and wildlife. In fact, if given the opportunity to spend one week anywhere in the world, Darsha’s only requirement would be some place with a cabin in the mountains surrounded by trees, wildlife, and water.
What one event in your childhood had the greatest effect on your life?
When I had to wear a back brace for scoliosis..
